Not Cape gooseberry flowers

[edit]

Hello Elucidate,
I didn't manage to find out what species this flower 50px was, but this is obviously not Ribes uva-crispa (look at what it could look like 50px), nor any other Ribes species.
I think it could belong to Solanaceae or Convolvulaceae family, but I am not sure at all. Was it a vine? Have you any other pictures of the same flower under other angles ? You could try to ask the question on this page : Category:Unidentified plants though it doesn't seem very active and answers do not arrive very quickly, but you could be lucky once.
Cheers.

Damn ! I knew I knew it !
Gooseberries in Europe apply to some of Ribes species, but in South Africa it concerns Physalis peruviana, belonging to the Solanaceae family. Delicious by the way.

Not so simple to change a file name
You must upload again the picture with the right name.
Then you put the template {{dupe|rightnamedimage.jpg}} at the top of the text of the wrong named image and a robot will do the deletion in a couple of days.
