  You should atleast respect the author by giving space and time to respond, please dont take everything into your hands unless I ask to. Search engines provide enough data but respect the owner of the picture to thank or share the gratitude too.   @SHB2000 Lets not get personal. He is new to Wikimedia commons and needs time to understand how process works. I should have created another filepage under his authorship and uploaded sharpened images over there. But since it will confuse the author seeing two different filepages, I choose to upload the new version. Anyway I should be placing a message on talk pages of Professional photographers from next time, before upgrading their photos. I have anyway created and added a this template to his userpage, so other users cannot rewrite the original version Mr. Suresh uploaded for the Wiki Loves Folklore photo contest. --iMahesh (talk) 08:26, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

•  Comment According to the guidelines, nominated images should not have signatures in the picture: "No advertisements, signatures, or other watermarks in image. Copyright/authorship information of all images should be located on the image's description page and should not interfere with content of the image." • Thanks to SHB2000 for restoring the latest version. @Suresh Kumar Vakalapudi: You should also restore your other two photos that were already marked as quality images. Not only did you add a signature, but you also reduced the resolution so much that both images are only a few kilobytes in size due to very low resolution and high compression: Photos 01 and 02.
