Summary[edit]
DescriptionAbyss of regular dodecagons on a clock face.svg |
English: We see a few stars on the clock face. These stellated regular dodecagons have the same center as the clock face. How to draw the sides of such a stellated polygon? A ray with origin at the center and passing through a vertex of the polygon, corresponds to a number of the clock face, from 1 to 12. By starting from the vertex numbered one, for example, we can add five twelve times. Because 1 + 5 = 6, we decide to draw the segment with endpoints 1 and 6. Then, 6 + 5 = 11, so points 6 and 11 will be the endpoints of the following side.
